Brenna McGrath
ND
Brenna McGrath is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the state of Vermont. She is dedicated to helping patients take control of their health and optimize wellness through personalized patient-centered care that treats the mind, body and spirit as a whole. Her approach combines modern medical insights with the foundational principles of naturopathic medicine - supporting the body’s innate healing ability and working to remove obstacles to health are central to her practice. She believes even one small change can create an impactful, rippling effect in one’s journey towards health. Dr. Brenna works as a primary care or adjunctive care provider, offering specialized expertise in areas such as women’s health, digestive wellness, hormone balance and preventative medicine.

She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at SUNY Plattsburgh, grounding her in the critical role that nutrition plays in overall health. Here, she taught group exercise classes at the campus gym and took extra classes in exercise science as well. She earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University, WA. While in school, she received additional training in pelvic floor physical therapy, the treatment of gastrointestinal conditions and autoimmunity, as well as various forms of body work such as Swedish massage, Reiki and trigger point needling.

“I grew up in rural Western NY and was raised in the setting of a family-owned small business where I fell in love with the people who made up my community. Practicing naturopathic medicine allows me to give back and share that love in a tangible way, while exercising my immense reverence for the natural world. I was drawn to natural, healthy living practices from a young age and understand the overwhelm that can come from the abundance of information we have access to these days. I aim to make healing a simple process, while holding respect for the complexity of our biology. My goal as a practitioner is to help my patients understand their bodies and discover what health truly means for them in a way that is uncomplicated and adaptable to where they are in their current stage of life. I want nothing more than to see others thrive, build resilience through knowledge and live a life most aligned with what they envision for themselves.”

Dr. Brenna uses various modalities which she tailors to her patients needs. These may include botanical medicine, nutritional counseling, nutraceutical supplements, homeopathy, exercise counseling, and body work. Each patient’s journey begins with a thorough assessment of their current health, goals, lifestyle, and medical history. Treatment plans are customized to help patients thrive now and to create a foundation for lifelong wellness.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Brenna enjoys all Vermont has to offer. You can find her out on the trails mountain biking, running, and skiing. She is a painter inspired by the natural scenes that surround her and also loves to cook, lift weights, and spend quality time with her family, friends and pets.

Dr. Brenna is accepting new patients!
