If you're feeling stuck in old patterns or searching for deeper healing, Jillian offers a grounded, compassionate space to explore what's holding you back. Whether you're navigating anxiety, life transitions, trauma, or a desire for greater self-understanding, Jillian meets each client with curiosity, warmth, and respect for your unique lived experience.
Jillian is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with a master's degree in clinical counseling psychology and over a decade of private practice experience across Texas, Idaho, and Vermont. She specializes in person-centered therapy and mindfulness-based approaches, tailoring her work to the individual needs of each client. Her training spans a wide range of disciplines. She has completed foundational courses in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through Penn Medicine, Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) training through the Institute for Spirituality and Health, and ongoing study of Toltec philosophy through HeatherAsh Amara. She also engages regularly in nature-based learning with various local teachers. Most recently, Jillian earned a certificate in psychedelic-assisted therapies and research from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) — an emerging and promising area of mental health treatment. Jillian now offers psychedelic preparation and integration sessions. This service supports clients receiving ketamine-assisted therapy, as well as those who have had psychedelic experiences and seek a non-judgmental space to process and make meaning of what arose. Jillian has extensive experience working with diverse and underserved populations in both research and counseling settings. She warmly welcomes LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients and is committed to understanding and honoring the full complexity of each person's experience. "I grew up among the pine trees and gulf coast waters of east Texas where I learned how to sail, camp, and cook chili. I have lived and traveled many places before finding my home in northern Vermont, where I spend time connecting to the land, hiking, gardening, cooking simple food, reading fiction, napping with my animals, and journaling." Jillian is currently accepting a limited number of new clients on a case-by-case basis. She works with adults and adolescents age 16 and older.
